The Valjoux 886 is a hand-winding chronograph movement in the Valjoux 72 family with “triple date” and moon phase. is an update on the Valjoux 88 triple calendar/moon phase movement operating at the faster rate of 21,600 A/h. Since it shares many components with the non-moon phase Valjoux 730, and since many plates are stamped “730”, it is often confused with that movement or the older Valjoux 88.
