Cal. 232 is a rare column wheel chronograph movement produced by Valjoux between 1969 and 1974. Closely related to the famous Valjoux 23 “VZ”, it features a 30 minute chronograph counter and date window at 6:00. Calibres 232 and 234 are identical in function, with the only differences being rate of operation (18,000 A/h and 21,600 A/h, respectively) and the fact that Cal. 234 uses an annuar balance. Just 5,176 examples were produced.
