A set of components that are designed to go together is called an assortiment in French. The word is most commonly encountered in reference to the escape wheel, pallets, and roller of a lever assortiment or the escape wheel and cylinder of a cylinder assortiment but is also used for other component sets, including the pendant, winding button, and bow of a pocket watch.
