Cal. 54 is a 14 ligne variant of the 13.75 ligne Cal. 48 an early dual-pusher cam-operated chronograph movement. The added width was modest (less than 1 mm). Unlike other movements in the family it uses traditional horizontal clutch rather than an oscillating pinion to activate the chronograph function.
