SW100

Sellita's Cal. SW100 is a clone of ETA's Cal. 2671

Sellita Cal. SW100 is a compact automatic movement with date based on the design of the ETA Cal. 2671. It measures just 7.75 ligne (17.20 mm) in diameter but is 4.80 mm thick. It is a central rotor automatic movement with a date wheel.

Sellita SW100 History

Sellita had manufactured various ETA movements, including members of the Cal. 2600 family, for many years. In the early 2000s, Sellita sold ETA-branded versions of Cal. 2660, 2671, 2678, and 2681. This ended in 2008, as Sellita focused on the workhorse Cal. SW200 and slim SW300.

Sellita introduced their own compact movement, Cal. SW1000, in 2014. This was their first in-house movement, though it was roughly based on the SW300 design. Measuring 9 ligne (20.00 mm) in diameter, it was not small enough for many ladies watches and failed to take hold in the market.

In 2018, Sellita introduced their own ETA 2600 clone. Cal. SW100 measures just 7.75 ligne (17.20 mm) in diameter. It is virtually identical to ETA’s Cal. 2671. The first appearance of the SW100 line is the 2018 catalog, where it is marked “NEW”. As of 2020, this is the only movement in the SW100 family.
