Venus Cal. 196 is a monopusher column wheel chronograph movement produced from 1949 through 1960. It may have been produced exclusively for the Leonidas Watch Company.
It has no chronograph registers apart from the central 60 seconds hand, giving it an unusual appearance with small seconds at 6:00. Unusually for Venus, it also has just six columns on the wheel to control the chronograph.
