Cal. 8000 is an automatic chronograph movement based on the basic ETA 7750 Family design, but it uses a column wheel rather than cam system for activation. It includes the familiar 7750 dial layout with 30 minute counter at 12 and 12 hour counter at 6. The date is shown at 3 but no day wheel is used. It also includes an independent adjustable central 12 hour hand.
Sinn uses Cal. LJP 8000 in their higher-end chronograph watches, with their lubricant-free Diapal escapement technology.
The following watches are known to use Cal. LJP 8000:
- Sinn 103 St Diapal
- Sinn 144 St Diapal
- Sinn 9000 Diapal
