Cal. 9200 (advertised as “Fontronic” by Ebauches SA) is a compact electronic movement for ladies watched. Part of the Dynotron movement family from Ebauches SA, it uses an electronically controlled balance wheel powered by a battery. The basic design is similar to the contemporary ESA 9154 though all of the components are relocated and miniaturized. Despite the small size, it includes both day and date display with semi-quickset on the latter.
A compact movement, Cal. 9200 measures just 7 by 8 ligne (15.3 by 17.8 mm) in size and is 4.6 mm thick. It operates at 28,800 A/h and has 7 jewels, which is not low for an electronic movement.
Cal. 9200 was offered by 1972 and continued in production through the mid 1970.
