Introduced in 1970, Cal. 2121 was the thinnest automatic movement with a date complication. Measuring just 3.05 mm thick, Audemars Piguet based this on their existing Cal. 2120, which was designed by Jaeger-LeCoultre. It remains in production as of 2019.
