The Venus Cal. 199 is a cam-switching chronograph movement introduced in 1950. Based on the revolutionary Venus Cal. 188, it adds a full calendar complication (day, date, month).
The date hand was quick-corrected using an inset pushbutton at 8:00. The day and month wheels were quick-corrected using a pusher at 10:00.
Cal. 199 was introduced in 1950 and retired around 1960.Images are taken from official publications and are used here for commentary and educational purposes. Copyright is held by the original owner as noted.
