The Venus Cal. 199 is a cam-switching chronograph movement introduced in 1950. Based on the revolutionary Venus Cal. 188, it adds a full calendar complication (day, date, month).
The date hand was quick-corrected using an inset pushbutton at 8:00. The day and month wheels were quick-corrected using a pusher at 10:00.
Cal. 199 was introduced in 1950 and retired around 1960.
