SW461-1

Cal. SW400 has a spacer around the SW200 main plate, allowing a wider and larger date for watches over 40 mm

Sellita Cal. SW461-1 is an enlarged version of Cal. SW261-1, an automatic movement with date and small seconds based on the ETA 2824-2 design. Measuring 31.00 mm in diameter, the added width allows a larger date wheel to be fitted.

Sellita SW461 History

Sellita introduced Cal. SW400-1 in in 2014 for the oversized watches that were becoming popular at that time. Variously described as 13.75 or 14 ligne, it pushes the date wheel out to the edge of the dial on watches over 40 mm. It even uses the same main plate as its little brother, with a large “spacer” added to enlarge the movement.

This small seconds version, Cal. SW461-1, was added in 2019. There is no equivalent ETA movement.
