Cal. 8L36 is an automatic watch movement with GMT produced by Seiko’s Shizukuichi Watch Studio for the Credor and Galante brands starting 2011. It remains in production as of 2020. It was based on the Grand Seiko Cal. 9S56 which was produced at the same time but has been phased out since 2010. The Galante Cal. 8L38 was similar but lacks the GMT complication and is designed for “open heart” use.
Cal. 8L36 was originally used in the Credor Signor GCBZ models, from 2011 through 2016. That same year the Galante SBLM models were introduced, and they remain in production as of 2020.
