PF701

Cal. PF701 (and the closely related Cal. PF702) is a micro-rotor automatic movement from Parmigiani Fleurier. It measures just 2.60 mm thick thanks to the micro rotor, which is made of platinum (PF701) or tungsten (PF702).

Although the original 2010 introduction of the Tonda 1950 specified Cal. PF700, the movement was named PF701 from at least 2011.

Cal. PF702

Cal. PF702 was introduced in 2017 at SIHH in the cost-reduced stainless steel-cased Tonda 1950. It is largely identical to Cal. PF701 but uses a tungsten micro-rotor and boasts a longer 48 hour power reserve.
