Cal. PF334 is an automatic chronograph movement from Parmigiani Fleurier, introduced in the Kalpagraphe in 2007. It is based on the Parmigiani Cal. PF331 with a 30 mm chronograph module produced by Dubois Dépraz, which adds quite a lot to the thickness of the movement as well. It measures 6.8 mm thick, as opposed to 3.5 mm for the base movement.
Reviews have noted that the chronograph module saps power from the base movement, dropping the amplitude to 210º. Although it is a double-barrel movement, the barrels are arranged in series so they do not provide additional torque through the gear train.
