Cal. 252 is a hand winding perpetual calendar movement with minute repeater from Parmigiani Fleurier. Introduced in 2005 in the Toric Corrector model, it combined top complications in an easy to use package.
The date is indicated by a retrograde central pointer, indicated on the main dial from 8:00 to 4:00. The day is shown in a subdial at 12:00 and the month at 6:00. The leap year status is indicated in a small window at 3:00. The moon phase is shown in a small aperture just before 9:00 on the dial and is highly accurate, not needing adjustment for 122 years.
Notable was the single push button at 2:00 on the dial which advanced the entire perpetual calendar by one day. The precision moon phase indicator also advances correctly. This allowed the user to correct the date much easier than other perpetual calendar watches.
