Cal. FP 1150 (also known as F. Piguet 11.50 and Blancpain Cal. 1150) is an ultra-thin automatic movement from Frédéric Piguet. It boasts an impressive 100 hours power reserve thanks to double barrel winding.
Cal. 1150 was produced in various versions: E1150-1, E1150-2, E1150-3, E1150-4, E1150-5, and 1151. Most versions place the date window at 3:00 but some move it to 6:00. Cal. FP 1153 lacks the date wheel.
Note that Blancpain lists their Cal. 1150 as having 28 jewels, while F. Piguet documents list 29 jewels. Blancpain also lists the movement at 12.20 mm in diameter (12 ligne) while F. Piguet lists 25.60 mm diameter (11.5 ligne). Furthermore, the Blancpain movement has a silicon balance spring.
