Miyota Cal. 6T51 is a compact automatic movement popular with OEMs and spawned a small family of similar movements. It is a full-featured movement running at 28,800 A/h with bilingual day and quickset date wheels. Cal. 6T51 has been in the Miyota catalog since at least 2000 and is likely related to the Miyota Cal. 82 family. As of 2019, no Cal. 6 movement is listed on the Miyota website, though Cal. 6T51, 6T15, and 6T28 were still listed in the 2019 catalog.

Distinguishing features of the movement include a large number of ball bearings visible around the central winding rotor and an unusual regulator with a perpendicular screw. When viewed from the back with the winding stem at 9:00, the balance wheel is located at 7:00 and is located by a counter-clockwise cock.

Cal. 6T51 has a central winding rotor that operates in the clockwise direction and can also be wound by hand. The movement measures 19.80 mm (8.75 ligne) in diameter and is 5.98 mm thick.
