Cal. 1309 and 1310 are essentially identical apart from the use of a heavy metal rim on the rotor of the former, as opposed to the all-brass rotor on the latter. The early movements (Cal. 1306, 1307, 1308, 1309, and 1310) were closely related and came out about the same time. They shared the “Etarotor” central rotor technology also used in Cal. 1256 and 1216.
